Description
Kent and Medway Mental Health NHS Trust is seeking a Mobile Cleaner to join their Estates and Facilities Team in Dartford. As a Mobile Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across various sites, including the Greenacres site in Dartford and other hubs and satellite sites in North Kent.
The post is part-time, working 16 hours per week between 08:00-20:00, Monday to Friday. You will need to hold a full, valid UK driving licence and have access to a car/vehicle to use for business purposes, unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in line with New NHS Cleaning Guidelines
- Carrying out general cleaning and related domestic duties across clinical, administrative, and outpatient areas
- Working collaboratively with ward managers and the wider Hotel Services team to deliver a clean, hygienic, and supportive environment for patients
- Completing weekly departmental performance checks
- Safely collecting and disposing of waste
- Travelling between local hubs and satellite sites across North Kent to provide flexible cleaning support where required
The salary for this post is £25,272 per annum, plus High Cost Area allowance, pro rata. The post is permanent and part-time.
