Account Executive

WTSP-TV Tampa, a TEGNA-owned CBS affiliate, is seeking a competitive, coachable, and results-driven Account Executive. The successful candidate will develop new business and grow a portfolio of advertising clients across broadcast television, streaming, connected TV, and digital advertising.

The role involves selling one of the strongest portfolios in the market, combining the reach and trust of 10 Tampa Bay News broadcast television with the targeting and growth of streaming. Responsibilities include:

• Developing new business and maintaining a strong pipeline through consistent prospecting
• Managing the full sales process, from prospecting to closing business
• Selling consultatively to deliver measurable results
• Building compelling proposals and presenting solutions to clients
• Growing client relationships and identifying opportunities for continued growth
• Managing the pipeline using CRM and prospecting tools

Requirements include:

• Being competitive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented
• Having strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Being coachable, curious, and motivated to learn consultative media sales
• Possessing strong organizational skills and follow-through
• Having an interest in broadcast television, streaming/CTV, and digital advertising

The salary is competitive, with a base plus commission structure.
