Cleaning Operative

We are looking for a proactive Cleaning Operative to join our team and assist in maintaining a clean and safe shopping environment for all our customers and staff.

The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and sanitising all areas of the shopping centre, including customer toilets, floor areas, and cabins. This will involve using various cleaning equipment and machinery, such as ride-on floor machines, hoovers, and mops.

Key responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitise all areas of the cabins and customer toilets
• Ensure all customer toilets are fully stocked with paper, soap, etc. and all items are fully functional
• Clean all floor areas, conducting hoovering, sweeping, and mopping
• Use machinery and equipment in line with training and maintaining H&S compliance
• Remove chewing gum
• Conduct ad-hoc tasks in connection with business requirements
• Assist in the case of fire evacuation or other major/minor incidents

Requirements:

• Enjoy working as part of a team and ability to work independently
• Excellent time management skills
• Smart and well-presented
• High level of customer care awareness
• Available for 6am starts and/or 8pm finish
