Occupational Therapist Part-Time

As an Occupational Therapist with The Menta Education Group, you will work with students to help them improve and develop the skills needed for day-to-day life and work, according to the students' IEPs.

Menta Academy North, located in Waukegan, IL, is a Therapeutic Day School setting. Staff hours are 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, following a school calendar. There is flexibility in days and hours worked as long as they are within staff hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide educational direction and support for students during times of confusion, frustration, and emotional upset.
• Develop and update IEP goals and progress reports for your student caseload.
• Deliver Occupational Therapy-related service minutes as specified on the IEP.
• Maintain accurate related service logs updated weekly.
• Coordinate and communicate with administrative staff, teachers, and other related service staff as needed or as directed by the IEP.

Qualifications

• Current State Occupational Therapy License.
• Registration with the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Ability to work with students with ED/BD/OHI/Autism/TBI/OHI.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: USD 46.51-48.37 per hour.
