Description
We are seeking an Activities Designer to join our team at Full Circle, the studio behind skate., an online, free-to-play, skateboarding sandbox game.
As an Activities Designer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and fine-tuning activities for players to engage with solo and with others within skate. You will report to the Seasonal Design Director and collaborate with other departments to support game features with engaging activity loops and content.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement compelling activities, challenges, missions, tasks, and events that keep players engaged within seasons and throughout progression.
- Refine designs based on internal and external playtests, game metrics, team input, and player feedback.
- Work within the Frostbite engine using the editor and visual scripting to prototype and bring your designs to life.
- Collaborate with other departments to support game features with engaging activity loops and content.
- Help develop new features and systems related to player engagement, progression, and seasonal content.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Game Design or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- 1+ years experience working within game engines implementing content or features.
- 1+ years experience creating progression, activities, or seasonal content for a shipped game.
- A passion for skateboarding and skate culture is a bonus.
In terms of compensation, the salary range for this position is $92,900 - $129,200 CAD per year.
