QA Engineer

We are seeking a QA Engineer to join our team in Oosterbierum. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for managing our KMS (care system) which integrates various quality standards such as HACCP, BRC, IFS, and more.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Identifying areas for improvement and initiating improvement proposals related to QA
• Leading and participating in projects in your field, evaluating project plans from other departments for QA implications
• Organizing and conducting internal and external audits and inspections
• Monitoring the progress of corrective and preventive actions and projects
• Sharing knowledge of food safety with colleagues and promoting food safety awareness
• Collecting, processing, and reporting data from the QA department for management

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A completed HBO education, preferably in Food Technology
• Several years of experience in a QA department in the food industry
• Experience with HACCP and accredited standards such as BRC, IFS, and Halal
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
• Customer focus and proactive attitude
