Thermal and Fluid Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Thermal and Fluid Systems Engineer to join our team at Cummins Inc. in Columbus, Indiana. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing thermal and fluid systems for our engines and powertrains.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop thermal and fluid systems for engines and powertrains
• Analyze system performance using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and finite element analysis (FEA)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems and ensure compatibility
• Develop and implement test plans to validate system performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in thermal and fluid systems engineering
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer
• Experience with CFD and FEA software
• Excellent communication and project management skills
