Medior Legal Counsel

At bunq, we move fast, launching products, entering new markets, and onboarding partners across the globe. Behind every partnership that makes users' banking experience better, there's a contract. We need a sharp, senior lawyer who owns that process end to end, and in doing so, gets a front-row seat to every corner of bunq's business, from product launches to market expansions.

As our Medior Legal Counsel, you'll get exposure to all areas of legal at bunq, from product launches to regulatory changes to new market expansions. You'll be the go-to person for every third-party contract at bunq, from payment processors to tech vendors, making sure we move fast without cutting corners.

Your responsibilities include:

• Taking ownership of the contract review process using AI tools like Luminance
• Building smarter workflows that handle more, faster
• Giving bunq's leadership a clear, real-time picture of our third-party risk

Requirements:

• Qualified lawyer with a Master's degree in Law and a strong background in financial services
• Experience reviewing and negotiating high-volume third-party contracts, vendor agreements, data processing agreements, tech partnerships
• Familiarity with AI tools to make legal work faster and smarter
• Conversational Dutch (B1+ or higher)
