Description
As a Manufacturing Ops Engineering – Project Engineer at 3M, you will have the opportunity to manage project timelines and budgets, interact with multiple discipline teams, specify equipment performance and design criteria, estimate capital equipment and installation costs, define and execute competitive bidding strategy, oversee plant equipment layout and design, coordinate construction activity, lead equipment commissioning, protect 3M intellectual property, and communicate effectively with project team, facility staff, and project owners.
The ideal candidate will possess or be in the final year of pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering discipline from an accredited institution. Additional qualifications that could help you succeed in this role include 1-3 years of experience in project management, experience in quarry mining and/or heavy industrial operations, and strong oral and written communication skills.
