Description
As a Shift Lead - Food at Marks & Spencer's Brentwood store, you will lead the fill operation, ensuring the salesfloor is ready to trade, and take operational responsibility for coordinating resource to Serve, Sell, and Fill.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating resource to deliver operational tasks during the fill operation
- Leading the fill operation, coaching colleagues on One Best Way, and driving productivity in readiness for store opening
- Allocating resource effectively to deliver a quick payment experience
- Enabling daily operational processes to be implemented efficiently across the store
- Coordinating the team to deliver a clean, safe, and well-presented store
- Role modelling great Customer Service and M&S behaviours
- Supporting Colleague Managers and sharing observations to help deliver high performance
- Being a key holder and answering call outs as required
- Handling tasks related to opening and closing the building, including receipt of vehicles and cash handling
This is a frontline role that requires you to be proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be part of a team that is transforming the retail experience and introducing innovative new experiences to customers.
The work pattern for this role is as follows: Week 1:
- Sunday: 12:00-20:00
- Monday: 13:00-21:00
- Wednesday: 13:00-21:00
- Thursday: 14:00-22:00
- Friday: 14:00-22:00
Week 2:
- Tuesday: 13:00-21:00
