System Ethernet QA Engineer

We are seeking a hardworking and engaged engineer with experience in Networking to join the System Ethernet QA Team. Our QA team is responsible for testing and qualifying NVIDIA Ethernet solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review architecture, design, and requirements for new features introduced in the product
• Design, develop, and implement tests for new features as part of software GA releases and update releases
• Report bugs found during execution, assist with reproduction and debugging to understand root cause, verify bug fixes provided by the R&D team, and raise issues if not fixed
• Implement system tests in different scopes: regression, performance, functional, and security
• Write automation tests and framework APIs based on Python

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in QA/Networking
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Confirmed networking knowledge and hands-on experience (switching and routing)
• Confident understanding of routing protocols (BGP/EVPN, VXLAN/OSPF), multicast features (PIM/IGMP), and QoS features (PFC/ECN/RoCE)
• Automation/scripting skills and experience in Python and Linux Bash
• Ability to handle several tasks in parallel, prioritize optimally, and complete them responsibly

Preferred Qualifications:

• CCNP, CCIE certification
• Experience with Python automation and source control tools
• Good Linux and Linux kernel knowledge
• Experience with various compute and virtualization environments (Linux KVM, VMware, ESXi)
