The primary role of a Warehouse Superintendent is to oversee the day-to-day operation of a Parts Distribution Center. Responsibilities include:

• Working in close alignment with the Building Manager to drive the consistent and timely execution of warehouse tasks and performance metrics.
• Effectively managing warehouse deadlines and timelines, demonstrating adaptability in the face of planned and unplanned complexities.
• Managing depot budgets, inventory management, facility management, and liaison for all external partners.
• Supervising and developing material control supervisors.
• Being responsible for managing all operations including inbound, outbound, claims processing, building maintenance, UAW relationships, and transportation personnel.
• Championing and leading quality continuous improvement initiatives toward best-in-class performance.
• Delivering objectives related to safety, quality, efficiency, absenteeism, inventory accuracy and cost.
• Being responsible for all operations metrics including lost time incidents, error rate, denials, inbound cycle time, inventory accuracy, grid times, and on-time delivery.
• Maintaining a consistent and positive working relationship with UAW employees and committee, including fair and consistent employee accountability, vacation scheduling and administration of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to ensure accountability from all employees.
• Minimum 3 years leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 3 years operational/distribution experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate employees (Hourly & Salaried).
• Working knowledge of Windows programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access etc.).
• Knowledge of warehouse systems (EWM).
• Ability to interpret data, evaluate actions, and reach logical conclusions independently.
• Goal-oriented and continuous Improvement mindset with a focus on quality and reduced costs.

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Minimum 5 years leadership experience.
• Minimum 5 years operational/distribution experience.
• Minimum 3 years working with the UAW/Teamster workforce and contract.
• Knowledge of warehouse systems (SAP).

Salary: $86,600-$144,900 or $99,100-$166,200 depending on the salary grade.
