Software Development Engineer III DevOps

About the Role

As a DevOps Engineer at Meesho, you will create systems that serve as the brains of complex distributed products. You will mentor younger engineers on the team, work on code modularity, scalability, reusability, and contribute to team building in the Engineering organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop reusable Infrastructure code and testing frameworks for Infrastructure
• Create tools and frameworks for Meesho engineers to provision infrastructure and manage access controls
• Design and develop solutions for cloud security, secrets management, and key rotations
• Design a centralised logging and metrics platform to handle Meesho's scale
• Take on new infrastructure requirements and develop infrastructure as code
• Collaborate with Application teams to onboard container platform
• Scale the Meesho platform to handle millions of requests concurrently
• Reduce Mean Time To Recovery (MTTR), enable High Availability, and Disaster Recovery

Requirements

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science
• 4-7 years of experience in DevOps/Infrastructure Engineering
• Proficiency in Systems, Linux, OpenSource, Infrastructure Engineering, and DevOps fundamentals
• Understanding of compliance and security
• In-depth knowledge of SDL
• Ability to write infrastructure as code for public or private clouds
• Knowledge of configuration and infra management tools (Chef/Puppet/Ansible, Terraform) or CI tools
• Scripting skills in Python, Shell, or Go
• Experience with container services like Docker, Kubernetes, EKS/GKE
• Designing and implementing end-to-end monitoring solutions in the cloud
