Sales Account Manager, Nordic

We are seeking a Sales Account Manager to support biotech customers across the Nordic region. This role combines scientific expertise with relationship building and business growth.

Job Scope Develop and manage assigned accounts, building strong partnerships with biotech organizations and key decision-makers to deliver tailored solutions and drive sustainable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and strategically manage assigned accounts across the territory
• Research and understand territory growth opportunities and develop an effective business plan and sales strategy
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience
• Schedule customer visits and sales calls, execute sales strategy, and capture detailed notes through CRM
• Share market insights, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback with internal stakeholders
• Represent GenScript at industry conferences and networking events

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Immunology, Biotechnology, or a related Life Sciences discipline
• At least 3 years of sales experience within the life sciences, biotechnology, or CRO sector
• Familiarity with Gene Synthesis, Proteins, Peptides, Antibodies, Cell Line Development Services
• Hands-on laboratory experience and ability to engage in scientific discussions with customers
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Fluent English communication skills
• Willingness to travel up to 30% as required

Nice to Have

• Master's or PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Immunology, Biotechnology, or a related Life Sciences discipline
• Experience selling reagent services
• Fluency in Swedish, Norwegian, or Danish
• Track record working effectively in a global, cross-functional, multicultural team
