Junior Buchhalter / Accountant (w/m/d)

We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our Finance team in Munich. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for tasks in financial accounting, particularly in accounts payable in daily operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Processing accounting mail, capturing and posting invoices, preparing payment runs, supporting ongoing account reconciliation and maintenance, and resolving minor differences independently.
• Participating in monthly and annual financial close processes.
• Supporting projects such as process optimisation in accounting.
• Helping to make our accounting processes smarter, using tools like Excel or AI.
• Continuously developing and actively shaping your future with us.

Requirements:

• Completed commercial training, e.g., as a tax assistant, or a business administration degree with a focus on financial accounting/accounting.
• Initial professional experience in accounting, e.g., during training, internship, or work-student activity.
• Good knowledge of accounting regulations and basic accounting principles; willingness to learn new topics.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Knowledge of accounting systems like SAP is beneficial.
• Openness to using AI and enthusiasm for solving repetitive tasks more intelligently.
• Reliable, accurate, and structured work style, analytical thinking, and a willingness to question and improve existing processes.
• Enjoyment of working in a dynamic environment and intrinsic motivation to make a real impact.
• Fluent in German and good English language skills.
