Assistant Game Designer - NHL

Electronic Arts is seeking an Assistant Game Designer for the EA SPORTS NHL franchise in Vancouver, British Columbia. The successful candidate will work with the production and design team to create narrative content for players. They should have a deep knowledge of hockey, a passion for the sport, and a good eye for product quality and usability.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with data entry and management for World of Chel live service release plans
• Coordinate and verify data entry
• Provide feedback on live service plans and schedules
• Analyze data and analytics connected to World of Chel's live service plan
• Identify potential live service opportunities
• Support live launches
• Create writing content related to live service content
• Collaborate with NHL producers and teams
• Communicate progress and quality effectively

Requirements:

• 1+ year of experience in game design and/or production, preferably on a live service with tight deadlines
• Experience shipping at least one AAA title as a producer or designer
• Passion for and deep understanding of hockey
• Good knowledge of the EA SPORTS NHL franchise

The pay range for this position in British Columbia is $60,300 - $78,800 CAD per year. Benefits include vacation time, sick leave, health/dental/vision coverage, and basic life insurance.
