Description
We are seeking a Sales Finance Support professional to join our Finance and Corporate Strategy team. The successful candidate will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
The Finance and Corporate Strategy team ensures that the business's capital strategies are operationally supported and strategically focused to secure the greatest return on investment for the global company. As a Sales Finance Support professional, you will support critical sales finance activities, prepare and update management reporting templates, and perform extensive analysis of multiple financial data sets.
Responsibilities:
- Provide complex financial analysis for a financial function or a business.
- Establish and maintain relationships with business leaders to guide and influence decision-making.
- Provide analytics to business initiatives.
- Support policy and process improvement and identify opportunities.
- Identify issues and propose solutions.
- Represent finance on cross-functional teams.
- Provide mentoring and guidance to analysts.
Requirements:
- First-level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) preferred.
- Typically 4+ years of experience as a financial analyst.
- Typically experienced in more than one finance function.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Excellent teamwork skills.
- Good business acumen.
