Description
At Ford Motor Company, we are seeking a Project Engineer to join our team. As a Facility Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for electrical design for various facility types within Ford Motor Company's portfolio of buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Provide subject matter expert (SME) support with master planning, scope development, and design review of construction projects.
- Work with architectural and engineering firms to develop design and construction documents for Ford facilities.
- Identify and evaluate new technology, construction methods, and materials to maximize capital investment efficiency and sustainability in corporate infrastructure programs.
- Manage interactions with government authorities, municipalities, and agencies to ensure that facilities comply with local codes, laws, and recommended practices.
- Support and maintain positive relationships with communities in which we operate to enhance long-term working relationships with community officials.
- Drive the standardization of global processes and lead in the continuous improvement of facility standards, specifications, and technical innovation.
- Provide collaborative SME support during design and construction activities to complete projects on time and in budget.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in an Engineering Discipline from an ABET-accredited university.
- Knowledge and experience in all engineering aspects of buildings and facilities.
- AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks experience.

The salary range for this position is $65,100 - $166,200.
