Millwright

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team at Multimatic in Concord, Ontario.

The successful candidate will perform millwright duties including the repair and troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems and tools.

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing repairs and troubleshooting on pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems and tools
• Interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine and verify work procedures
• Providing troubleshooting support to maintenance personnel on electrical systems, PLC programming, and other technical issues as required
• Operating machine tools such as lathes and grinders to fabricate parts for overhaul, maintenance, or machinery setup
• Completing all required documentation in a timely manner
• Assisting in implementing continuous improvement initiatives on the production line
• Conducting routine preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation for all assembly equipment
• Recommending critical spare parts requirements to support equipment reliability
• Participating actively in preventative maintenance programs and downtime reduction efforts
• Identifying opportunities to improve equipment efficiency and reduce operational costs
• Preparing reports outlining issues encountered during shifts and other relevant updates
• Ensuring clean, safe, and organized working conditions at all times
• Complying with TS16949 and ISO14001 standards and requirements
• Following all departmental procedures and company policies
• Adhering to all company health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Valid 433A license (mandatory)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the field
• Licensed Millwright, Industrial Mechanic or equivalent
• Extensive experience with Pneumatic, Hydraulic, and mechanical systems and tools
• Machine Shop and MIG/TIG Welding experience an asset
• Electrical trouble shooting capabilities required

The total cash compensation range for this position is expected to be: $32.00 - $49.00
