WSP is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their Ground Engineering West team in London, Ontario. The successful candidate will combine technical expertise with business development responsibilities, contributing to the growth of WSP's geotechnical practice.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as a local geotechnical business lead and technical resource
- Leading and supporting proposal development
- Preparing and reviewing technical reports
- Providing senior-level technical oversight
- Fostering strong client relationships
- Collaborating with professionals across various market sectors
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's or post-graduate degree in Geotechnical (Civil or Geological) Engineering
- 10+ years of relevant working experience
- A License as a Professional Engineer in Ontario or elsewhere in Canada
- Strong people skills and the ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent interpersonal communication and critical thinking skills
- A 'Safety-First' focus and leadership skills
