Description
We are seeking a Medical Officer / School Nurse to join our team at Marjory Kinnon School, a Special Needs school for pupils with Autism.
As a Medical Officer / School Nurse, you will provide day-to-day medical care to students and staff, taking the lead on first aid, medication, healthcare plans, allergies, and medical supplies. You will work closely with students, parents, colleagues, and healthcare professionals to ensure students receive the right support.
This is a part-time, term-time only role, working from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, with flexible working hours considered. The salary range is £35,000 - £39,000 per annum, pro-rata.
To be successful in this role, you will have a background in nursing, healthcare, or a similar setting, and a passion for supporting pupils with additional educational needs. Knowledge of THRIVE and behaviour management strategies is desirable, but not essential.
