Agency Channel Leader, Hong Kong & Macau

We are seeking an experienced Agency Channel Leader to oversee our agency channel in Hong Kong and Macau. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and implementing strategies to differentiate Manulife, and leading a team of Agency Directors and other agency functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver sales and recruitment targets for the agency channel
• Partner with product lines, marketing, and operations leaders to create positive differentiation
• Develop and implement strategies to drive digital adoption and grow high net worth and mainland Chinese visitors business
• Lead the Agency Contracting and Agency Recruitment teams
• Manage the necessary people, property, and infrastructure required to facilitate the agency channel
• Partner with related teams to drive high net worth and mainland Chinese visitors initiatives

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of meeting financial needs of customers through insurance and protection products
• Experience in implementing effective agency distribution models and strategies
• Strong leadership and coaching skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Successful track record of growing an insurance business in a mature market
• Ability to recruit, motivate, and retain high-caliber professionals
