Senior Data Analyst (MedTech)

YipitData's MedTech business is one of the fastest-growing verticals in the company, providing institutional investors with differentiated data products covering the medical technology and devices landscape.

As a Senior Data Analyst (MedTech), you will manage a team of 3-4 data analysts, own data quality and accuracy across MedTech research products, and evaluate new data sources to fuel sector growth.

Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership & Development: Manage a team, coach and perform management, set clear expectations, and provide regular feedback.
• Existing Product Ownership & Quality: Own data quality, review methodology decisions, and partner with the MedTech Research team.
• New Dataset Evaluation & Product Development: Identify, scope, and lead evaluations of new data sources, develop methodology and validation frameworks, and work with the Sector Head.
• Strategic Contribution: Translate sector priorities into team execution, contribute to MedTech roadmap discussions, and communicate priorities and risks.

Requirements:

• 4-8+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, or data product development.
• Strong technical skills, experience working with large-scale datasets, and healthcare data experience.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical judgment, clear communication style.

Preferred qualifications:

• Prior people management experience.
• Experience in alternative data, financial data products, or investor-facing analytics.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate and scope new data sources end-to-end.
• Experience with AI/ML tools and workflows.

Compensation package includes a competitive salary ($175,000-$200,000), performance-based bonus, equity, flexible work hours, flexible vacation, 401K match, parental leave, team events, wellness budget, and learning reimbursement.
