Visual Designer - EA SPORTS™ UFC

The EA SPORTS UFC franchise offers an exciting experience for over 20 million players globally, delivering fluid and responsive mixed martial arts through innovative gameplay technology.

As a Visual Designer on the EA SPORTS UFC team in Vancouver, you will play a crucial role in creating immersive digital entertainment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with UX and game designers to translate their designs into high-quality UI mockups
• Translating briefs into visual systems and production-ready layouts
• Refining existing graphics for approvals and localization needs
• Creating and refining style guides containing typography, colours, and layout
• Reporting to the Art Director

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A portfolio demonstrating strong Graphic Design and UI Design abilities
• 3+ years of experience in Graphic Design or Visual Design
• Experience designing for UI in video games
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)
• Familiarity with game development and UI and UX pipelines

Nice-to-have skills include:

• Knowledge of 3D tools like Blender, Cinema4D, Maya, or Max
• Motion Graphics skills
• Knowledge of creating UI for modern video game consoles
• Experience wireframing UI
