Description
Anduril Industries is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join its Tactical Recon and Strike (TRS) team's Core Infrastructure team. The successful candidate will work on building infrastructure for TRS products such as Altius, Ghost, Bolt, and Anvil.
The engineer will design, build, test, and release backend services used during manufacturing and deployment of Anduril products. They will also help define foundational software architectures, configuration processes, and user experience workflows for these products, working closely with chief engineers, program managers, flight test engineers, and end-user customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and building backend services for Anduril products
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define software architectures and user experience workflows
- Working with frontend technologies like TypeScript/React/PySide and high-performance backend technologies like Golang/Python/Rust
- Interfacing with engineers developing various aspects of the system, from low-level Linux drivers to autonomy and user interfaces
- Testing and evaluating software using simulations, benchtop hardware, and live flight assets
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 3 years of experience working with multiple programming languages such as Python, Rust, C++, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience working with customers to deliver novel software capabilities
- Familiarity with building user interfaces using popular frontend frameworks
- An understanding of how to find solutions to complex problems involving multiple technologies
- A passion for user experience and delivering streamlined products
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience building or inventing software applications or systems
- Previous experience working in an engineering setting, such as a startup or engineering school
- Professional software development lifecycle experience using tools like version control and CI/CD systems
- A deep understanding of computer and network systems
- Experience creating infrastructure for robots or complex embedded devices
The salary range for this role is $165,000-$219,000 USD per year. Anduril offers highly competitive equity grants and top-tier benefits for full-time employees.
