Investigative Photographer

WWL-TV, the CBS affiliate in New Orleans, is seeking a highly skilled and creative Investigative Photographer. As a key member of our investigative team, you will be responsible for capturing compelling and engaging video and audio elements for news, sports, features, and documentary-style stories.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with investigative journalists to create and realize the vision for special reports
• Use creative production techniques to enhance stories, such as graphics and new forms of media
• Participate in live news-gathering and on-air performances when necessary
• Operate news gathering vehicles to and from various locations

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of experience in an investigative team environment
• Experience in photojournalism, editing, and content management systems
• Proficiency with EDIUS or other non-linear editing systems
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and occasionally up to 80 lbs.
• Current driver's license and ability to operate news gathering vehicle
