WSP India is seeking a highly accomplished and motivated Senior Consultant to join the Air Quality team in Bengaluru or Noida, India. The successful candidate will support the South Africa-based Environment team, contributing to high-profile projects across the Earth & Environment sector.
The role involves working on projects within South Africa and internationally, focusing on baseline data analysis, emissions inventory compilations, and dispersion modelling. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting ambient air quality and meteorological data analysis
- Compiling emissions inventories
- Performing dispersion modelling using AERMOD, CALPUFF, and SCREEN3
- Compiling Atmospheric Impact Reports, Air Quality Impact Assessments, and Air Quality Management Plans
- Supporting Atmospheric Emission License applications and renewals
- Processing and formatting ambient monitoring data
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 6 years of experience in dispersion modelling
- A Master's degree in environmental engineering or a related field
- Technical skills in data analysis and report writing
- Experience with emission inventory compilation and dispersion modelling in AERMOD and CALPUFF
