Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Financial Adviser to join a specialist advisory team focused on delivering bespoke life insurance solutions for inheritance tax planning, business succession, and wealth structuring.
The role involves designing and delivering life insurance solutions within IHT and estate planning frameworks, acting as a trusted adviser alongside legal, accountancy, banking, and other professional advisers, and managing complex, high-value cases involving UK and cross-border estates.
Key responsibilities include:
- Advising high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients on term life and whole of life planning for IHT liabilities, trust-based protection structures, and family wealth preservation strategies
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with private client solicitors, tax advisers, accountants, and banking and other finance professionals
- Structuring solutions aligned to estate equalisation, liquidity for tax liabilities, and succession planning
- Navigating complex underwriting scenarios, including large sums assured, financial justification, and enhanced underwriting requirements
- Delivering advice in line with FCA regulatory requirements and producing high-quality suitability reports and advice documentation
The ideal candidate has strong experience in advised protection or financial planning, a proven track record working with high net worth clients, and exposure to complex IHT planning cases.
