Service Engineer

We are seeking a Service Engineer to join our team in France. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuity and quality of technical services offered by FUCHS to our industrial customers.

You will intervene directly on site for audit, control, maintenance, or after-sales service missions, while conveying the company's professional image and respecting safety rules.

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor the technical performance of FUCHS products at customer sites throughout their life cycle
• Ensure proper usage and user satisfaction
• Collect and analyze field data to identify areas for improvement
• Propose solutions to anomalies or irregularities encountered
• Perform service tasks (audits, controls, maintenance, after-sales service)
• Train customers and communicate effectively internally and externally
• Maintain cleanliness at intervention sites and ensure proper use of assigned equipment

Required skills:

• Mastery of GMAO tools, planning, and data analysis
• Technical diagnosis expertise in lubricants and industrial applications
• Good report writing and synthesis skills
• Autonomy, organization, rigor, and sense of priorities
• Excellent communication and listening skills, with a strong customer service mindset
• Reactivity and adaptability in unexpected situations

Profile sought:

• Minimum Bac +2 in a technical field (maintenance, processes, methods)
• Experience in a production environment / metalworking
• Mastery of office tools (Office 365, GMAO)
• Knowledge of tribology and basic electrical concepts
• Holder of a B driver's license
• Team spirit, technical curiosity, autonomy, and field sense
