Portfolio Manager

Leidos' Defense Systems is seeking a talented Portfolio Manager to join the Indirect Fire Protection Capability/Force Protection Business Area. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of programs, providing guidance to program teams, and driving business growth.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-on-one and group meetings with program teams to check status, provide guidance, and resolve issues
• Interface with customers to develop relationships, ensure high-quality service, and identify future business opportunities
• Provide business expertise to proposals, ensuring alignment with mission, financial, and Division strategic objectives
• Coordinate with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment and timely execution of program goals
• Identify and implement solutions to deficiencies in portfolio planning and execution
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team efficiency, quality, and program execution

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or equivalent, and 12+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 10+ years of experience
• 7+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects
• Experience building strategic relationships with internal and external customers
• Demonstrated experience in leading development or production teams
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
• Resident of North Alabama or willing to relocate to Huntsville area

Preferred Qualifications:

• Highly organized and responsive, with ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Background in electrical engineering
• Active and current DoD Secret clearance

Pay Range: $131,300.00 - $237,350.00
