Electronic Arts is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Frostbite team, focusing on runtime user interface framework technology using AI-assisted development workflows. The successful candidate will have opportunities to grow their ownership across the engine and shape how AI is applied to game development at EA.
The Senior Software Engineer will collaborate with accomplished teams and contribute to the foundation that enables the creation of immersive, high-quality games for players worldwide. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing user interface framework technology and contributing to scalable systems and tools across Frostbite
- Collaborating with engineers across game teams and central technology to build the future of UI technology at EA
- Applying AI-assisted tools and techniques to improve the quality and speed of delivery
- Partnering with game teams to turn their requirements into engine and workflow improvements
- Taking ownership of technical challenges from design through delivery
The ideal candidate will have:
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with proficiency in C++
- Demonstrated ability designing and building user interface systems, frameworks, or tools in a game engine or large-scale environment
- Experience applying AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering workflows
- Contributed to large-scale migrations, modernization efforts, or architecture changes
- Experience collaborating effectively across multiple teams, including distributed teams working across different time zones
