Description

We are seeking a Client Engineer to join our unannounced project team at EA Korea Studio. As a Client Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and continuously improving the development tools and content pipelines to increase productivity and stability in game content creation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing tools for handling in-game events such as camera, replay, and overlay
  • Supporting game content development using these tools
  • Creating and managing client-local database pipelines
  • Developing and supporting audio content pipelines
  • Providing technical support for 3D direction and cinematic content development using EA's Frostbite engine
  • Collaborating with content developers, artists, audio teams, and related development teams to automate repetitive tasks and improve production process bottlenecks

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of software development experience in relevant fields
  • Proficiency in C/C++ and STL
  • Experience in developing various content or content creation systems
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with multiple teams
  • Understanding and experience of team-based software development processes
  • Ability to read and write English documents required for work

Preferred skills:

  • Experience with commercial game engines or proprietary engines
  • Understanding of UI/UX systems or related development experience
  • Expertise in specific technical areas such as framework, game logic, audio pipeline, system
  • Experience with programming languages other than C++
  • Computer science or related major
  • Ability to proactively perform tasks and solve problems
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with diverse teams and related units
