Functional Safety Professional

We are seeking a Functional Safety Professional to join our team at Porsche Engineering Group GmbH in Prague. As a Functional Safety Professional, you will be responsible for managing system safety in innovative development projects according to ISO 26262, IEC 61508, and ISO 21448.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing safety requirements throughout the whole safety lifecycle
• Moderating hazard analyses such as HARA and HAZOP and safety analyses such as FMEA, FTA, and DFA
• Working on the safety of system design of electronic systems for various technologies, including top-class chassis systems, e-mobility systems, driver assistance systems, and highly automated driving systems
• Contributing to functional safety vehicle testing in renowned Porsche cars on proving grounds around the globe
• Managing the supplier interface with respect to functional safety or SOTIF
• Performing reviews, safety assessments, and safety audits
• Defining and improving processes, methodologies, guidelines, and toolchains
• Guiding and training teams and supervising junior safety engineers

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Strong knowledge of Functional Safety, ISO 26262, IEC 61508, or other comparable and related standards
• Experience with failure analysis methodologies, such as HARA, HAZOP, FMEA, FTA
• Knowledge of SOTIF (ISO 21448) and experience with development according to V-model and software quality management such as ASPICE is an advantage
• Previous experience in the field of automotive systems with a focus on electronics is an advantage
• Excellent English language skills, with German language skills considered a plus
• A curious, proactive attitude with strong communication skills, willing to extend knowledge to various domains, including high-performance systems and highly autonomous driving
• Willingness to work in a proactive and ambitious international team
