Billing Operations Analyst 1

Join Twilio as a Billing Operations Analyst 1, working remotely from Mexico City, Mexico. You'll be part of the Accounting department, playing a crucial role in shaping the future of communications.

As a Billing Operations Analyst 1, you will:

• Maintain external customer email, respond to queries, and onboard customers to Twilio's internal billing system and Financial ERP system.
• Participate in month-end close activities, including managing recurring billing, tracking customer credits, and analyzing revenue-related balance sheet accounts.
• Assist in developing and implementing financial controls and processes surrounding revenue and invoicing.
• Participate in external and internal audits as requested.
• Resolve customer billing queries and independently investigate customer issues.
• Manipulate and analyze large datasets in Excel.
• Communicate effectively with the Sales team, customers, and Senior Leaders via Slack, SFDC, calls, and email.
• Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with other teams to solve root problems.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in Billing, Revenue, or Order to Cash.
• Demonstrated problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Experience working with Oracle, Zuora, and Salesforce is advantageous.
• Solid experience working with large-volume transactions and strong attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel skills, including handling large raw data sets using pivots and functions like VLOOKUPS.
• 1-3 years of experience in an Operations role.
• Periodic weekend work is essential.
• Third-level qualification in Accountancy, Finance, or a Business-related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in Spanish and English.
