Skilled Trade - Industrial Electrician - Sharonville Transmission Plant (STP)

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team at the Sharonville Transmission Plant (STP). As an Industrial Electrician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment.

You will be paid a top hourly base rate of $45.115, plus applicable shift, overtime, and holiday premiums. The starting rate for this position is $44.915 with pay increases to the top rate upon completion of three consecutive months of employment.

Responsibilities:

• Work on various schedules, including changing shifts, working more than 8 hours per day, and overtime while maintaining good attendance.
• Learn and follow safety rules and procedures.
• Work effectively in a team environment, treating coworkers with respect and dignity.
• Understand and follow instructions, both oral and written.
• Perform tasks of the trade, such as standing for extended periods, walking unassisted, working at heights, and manipulating tools typical of the trade.
• Read hardware and ladder logic prints, troubleshoot electrical and robotic systems and equipment (e.g., Fanuc, ABB, Kawasaki).
• Work with PLCs (e.g., Allen Bradley, Square D, Control Logix), servo controls, and variable frequency drives.

Qualifications:

• Completed a bona fide apprenticeship, or have 8 years of previous experience, or have a combination of previous work experience and training equivalent to a bona fide apprenticeship program in the trade.
• Proficiency in reading hardware and ladder logic prints, troubleshooting electrical and robotic systems and equipment.
• Successful completion of a job interview, pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check.
