Senior Content Manager

We are seeking a Senior Content Manager to join our Communications team at WWT Slimbridge Wetland Centre in Gloucestershire.

As a Senior Content Manager, you will lead the development of a new content strategy for WWT, designed to elevate WWT's voice, build brand awareness and deepen engagement with our visitors, supporters and partners.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a content strategy that delivers high-quality, engaging and audience-focused content
• Lead a talented and creative team of content creators
• Work with colleagues from conservation teams to wetland centre staff and volunteers to showcase the wonder of wetlands and the impact of WWT's work
• Develop integrated, multi-channel content strategies designed to deliver measurable results against specific engagement objectives
• Manage a busy team, balancing competing priorities and translating them into clear and achievable plans

Requirements:

• Proven experience of developing successful content strategies that deliver high-quality, engaging and audience-focused content
• Experience in leading a team of content creators
• Strong focus on delivering impactful content, with ability to develop robust content objectives and KPIs
• Ability to work in a complex organisation and build effective working relationships across teams
