Occupational Therapist Assistant - Acute Care

Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will assist in the practice of occupational therapy to help patients develop skills for daily living, work conditioning, and exercise programs to restore function and increase strength.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare equipment for treatment and assist an Occupational Therapist with rehabilitative activities for patients
• Establish strong relationships with each patient to help them exceed their functional goals
• Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, fellow clinicians, and other team members
• Build and maintain relationships throughout the community

Requirements:

• Graduate of an APTA or CAPTE-approved occupational therapist assistant program
• State Licensure
• Basic Life Support Certification via the American Heart Association
