At Ford's Oakville Assembly Complex, we're expanding and retooling our vehicle operations. We're seeking a Skilled Trade – Pipefitter/Steamfitter.
Job Details:
- Top hourly base rate of $55.405 plus applicable shift, overtime, and holiday premiums.
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to health and safety rules
- Maintain equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist other trades/operators as needed
- Participate in training Pipefitter apprentices
- Participate in problem-solving meetings
- Coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance
- Generate and implement cost savings and process improvements
- Accurately enter data into maintenance tracking system
Qualifications:
- Completed recognized apprenticeship and Certificate of Qualification (CofQ) 306A or 307A
- Ability to work all shifts on a rotating schedule
- Preferred qualifications include ability to work in a team environment, proficient in installation, repair, and maintenance of industrial steam, wastewater, and process systems.
Additional Requirements:
- Experience in laying out, assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, cooling, process or industrial systems
- Installing piping for various processes
- Installing high-pressure piping
- Installing and maintaining instrumentation control systems
