Sr. Solutions Architect - Financial Services (Fintech / Data Providers)

Mission Solutions Architects at Databricks lead the growth of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.

As a Sr. Solutions Architect - Financial Services, you will exercise and grow your expertise in cloud platforms, data engineering, data analytics, and data science, machine learning, and AI.

You will work with customers, teammates, the product team, post-sales team, and partners to identify use cases for Databricks, develop architectures and solutions using the platform, and guide customers through implementation.

Key responsibilities:

• Partner with the sales team to help customers understand how Databricks solves business problems
• Provide technical leadership for customers to evaluate and adopt Databricks
• Consult on big data architecture and execute proof of concepts for strategic customer projects
• Build and present reference architectures and demonstrate applications for customers
• Promote open source projects across developer communities

Requirements:

• 10+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales or consulting role
• Experience with big-data technologies, distributed data systems, and public cloud providers
• Comfortable programming in Python, SQL, Scala, Java, or R
• Undergraduate degree or higher in an engineering or mathematics discipline

The pay range for this role is $219,100-$301,300 USD.
