Strategic Finance Lead

Prudential is seeking a Strategic Finance Lead to independently lead end-to-end strategic finance assessments for business initiatives, planning, and forecasting activities.

The successful candidate will act as a finance lead and strategic thought partner to various teams on selected strategic initiatives, developing an independent financial and commercial point of view, and providing clear, data-driven recommendations that influence initiative design and management decisions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading financial assessments and independent validation of key new business assumptions
• Developing and continuously improving forecasting and planning tools, models, and analytical frameworks
• Providing clear, data-driven recommendations to senior management
• Challenging key assumptions and assessing strategic options and trade-offs
• Translating complex analysis into concise recommendations and decision-oriented management materials

The ideal candidate will have:

• A university graduate degree, preferably with an actuarial background or qualifications
• 8-10 years of relevant experience
• Strong functional expertise and commercial judgement
• Ability to operate with limited supervision and manage ambiguity
• Strong leadership ability and executive communication skills
• Proven ability to engage and align cross-functional stakeholders
