As a Senior Software Engineering Manager at EA SPORTS™ UFC, you will lead a team of engineers, overseeing people management, hiring, career growth, and performance management.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and manage diverse engineering teams, focusing on people management, hiring, and career growth.
• Improve team health, stress awareness, and employee well-being.
• Organize mentoring, knowledge-sharing, and guidance for engineers.
• Drive staffing and recruitment to grow the engineering culture.
• Foster an agile engineering culture valuing delivery, quality, and craftsmanship.
• Determine technical resource requirements to meet project goals.
• Promote technical processes, plans, and task management for technical teams.
• Coordinate strategic efforts and planning with team members and partners.
• Improve workflows, tools, and iteration loops to increase productivity.
• Stay updated on the latest engineering and technology developments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or 10+ years of relevant work experience.
• 5+ years of experience leading agile engineering teams of 6+ engineers.
• Experience with mentoring, goal setting, mediation, and career planning.
• Understanding of OOP and C++ to coach engineers.
• Familiarity with development environment tools such as Perforce, Git, Visual Studio.
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration, Delivery, and Deployment best practices.
