Staff Accountant

YipitData is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join its Finance team remotely in the US. The successful candidate will utilise their accounting knowledge and attention to detail to manage accounts receivables, communicate with customers, and support the accounting team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including invoice review, collections, cash application, and account reconciliations.
• Resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries in a timely manner.
• Monitor customer accounts, follow up on outstanding balances, and collaborate with the Treasury Manager on collections.
• Review APAC entities' payroll reports and transactions booking in NetSuite.
• Assist in month-end closing procedures and other accounting tasks as assigned.
• Prepare and post journal entries as needed.
• Prepare account reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Analyze financial results and explain variances.
• Support the annual financial audit and other ad hoc projects.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of accounting experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong experience with Accounts Receivable, bookkeeping, General Ledger accounting, and month-end close processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Experience with NetSuite accounting software and Salesforce CRM is strongly preferred.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Knowledge of GAAP required.
