Internal Communications Manager, Tech

Anthropic is seeking an Internal Communications Manager to serve as a dedicated communications partner to its Core Tech organization.

The Internal Communications Manager will own the internal communications strategy for their portfolio within Core Tech, becoming an expert in the team's work and a trusted member of its leadership team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute internal communications strategies to connect employees to the work of Core Tech
• Serve as a hands-on advisor to executives, helping them craft communications and providing counsel
• Translate technical work into narratives that resonate with employees across functions
• Anticipate communications needs and develop plans to address them
• Design and implement strategies to boost signal and reduce noise
• Plan and execute internal events like all-hands and AMAs
• Partner with the broader internal communications team to ensure consistent messaging

Requirements:

• 8-12 years of experience in communications or an adjacent field
• Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to distill complex material into simple narratives
• Experience serving as a trusted advisor to senior leaders
• Ability to embed credibly with engineers and security practitioners
• Strong understanding of organizational culture and the ability to recognize authentic moments worth amplifying

Strong candidates may also have:

• Experience communicating about security, infrastructure, or other technical domains
• Experience working at AI companies or frontier tech companies
• Experience building or running internal communications programs during periods of rapid organizational growth

The annual compensation range for this role is $295,000-$345,000 USD.
