Description
We are seeking a commercially minded and data literate Business Intelligence Manager to join our Strategy & Business Intelligence team at BBC Studios. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving commercial growth, business performance, and future capability through strategic insight, trusted data, and high-quality business intelligence.
The Business Intelligence Manager will own the regular forecasting process for North America, working with senior sales leads to gain insight into regional activity and distill the information into a robust financial forecast with a clear narrative. They will also create and maintain dashboards on Tableau, manage stakeholders, and collaborate with team members in Strategy and Data roles to drive projects forward.
Key responsibilities include:
- Forecasting: Own the regular forecasting process for North America
- Dashboard creation/maintenance: Create and maintain self-serve dashboards on Tableau
- Stakeholder management: Ensure senior sales leads have the information they need to do their best work
- Team collaboration: Work with parallel roles in Singapore and London to learn, share, and find ways to join up regional projects
- Market analysis: Respond to ad hoc requests from North America sales teams to produce analysis using market intelligence tools
- Financial reporting: Deliver regular financial reporting to key stakeholders
- Pricing: Work to keep prices relevant and optimised to maximise yield from Sales teams' efforts
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a STEM subject, 4+ years of work experience in a data analytics role, and demonstrated proficiency in leveraging AI-powered tools to automate routine tasks and enhance insight generation. Experience with SQL, Python, or other analytical programming languages is desirable.
The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $102,000 - $123,000.
