Description
We're looking for a skilled iOS engineer to join our Account Mobile team, where you'll craft a cohesive, polished, and responsive experience for Wise Account users. You'll collaborate with product, design, and analytics teams to create tools that help users manage their cross-currency needs with ease. As a mobile engineer, you'll work alongside 60+ other engineers and influence other parts of the app to raise UX and code quality.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, scope, and build consistent experiences across Wise's native applications and the web with a customer-centric focus.
- Collaborate with product, design, analytics, and other teams to deliver impactful experiences.
- Ensure the overall health and quality of the iOS project.
- Collaborate with other iOS and Android engineers to leverage new technologies and best practices.
- Maintain clean, efficient, and scalable code.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience building and deploying customer-delighting apps.
- Proficiency in Swift.
- Familiarity with software architectural patterns like MVC, MVVM, or VIPER.
- Desire to write testable code.
- Understanding of REST API design.
- Strong product mindset and passion for user experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with SwiftUI, Structured Concurrency, or CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with internationalisation patterns.
- Fintech background.
