Description
The Infusion Therapy Registered Nurse (RN) provides specialised nursing care to patients receiving infusion therapies. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care throughout the infusion process.

Responsibilities

Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in infusion therapy, oncology, outpatient infusion, ambulatory care, or vascular access.
- Experience administering IV medications, biologic therapies, blood products, and specialty infusions.
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification (ONS) or willingness to obtain, if applicable to the department.
Physical Requirements
- Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.
- Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately.
- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy.
