Description
We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our team at HP Batu Kawan plant in Malaysia.
As a Technician, you will be responsible for operating machinery and assembly equipment required to complete direct assembly as well as supporting factory equipment and related processes.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Operating machinery when necessary to accomplish direct assembly tasks, while also providing support for factory equipment and its corresponding processes.
- Gathering and assessing data concerning both the manufacturing process and associated equipment and interpreting blueprints and schematics relevant to the manufacturing process.
- Dismantling, adjusting, repairing, and assembling equipment according to schematics, repair manuals, or specifications.
- Managing documentation pertaining to manufacturing and related processes and ensuring updates are integrated into the manufacturing systems.
- Providing hands-on assistance to resolve technical quality issues related to customer complaints, manufacturing, engineering, test methods, and equipment.
- Collecting and evaluating operating data to conduct online equipment adjustment and ensure process optimization.
- Adhering to established company, legal and regulatory standards and guidelines, and ensuring confidentiality in all dealings with company data.
- Assisting in implementing new processes, supporting department-level operational plans, and sharing technical information with colleagues and clients.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A Diploma or equivalent experience and/or 1-2 years related experience.
- Basic knowledge in the field of electromechanical technology, preferably in manufacturing systems and equipment maintenance, machine operation, or a related field.
