Assistant Game Designer - NHL

We are seeking an Assistant Game Designer to work on the EA SPORTS NHL franchise in Vancouver, British Columbia. As part of the team, you will create narrative content for players and collaborate with the production and design teams.

Responsibilities:

• Manage live content setup for World of Chel live service releases
• Coordinate data entry verification and provide feedback on live service plans
• Analyze data and analytics connected to the World of Chel live service plan
• Identify potential live service opportunities
• Support live launches and aid in creating writing content
• Collaborate with NHL producers and communicate progress to the NHL team
• Work across teams to manage dependencies and coordinate deliverables

Requirements:

• 1+ year of experience in game design and/or production, preferably on a live service with tight deadlines
• Deep understanding of hockey and the EA SPORTS NHL franchise
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a team setting and autonomously
• Good eye for game quality and user experience
