Sr. Corporate Legal Counsel (Legal Director)

We are seeking a Sr. Corporate Legal Counsel (Legal Director) to join our Legal Department in Piscataway, New Jersey.

The successful candidate will be part of a mid-sized in-house legal team handling U.S. Legal and Compliance issues, with opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review contracts and provide legal support to U.S. business units
• Conduct legal research using platforms like LexisNexis and Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools
• Coordinate with the Corporate Secretary Office on corporate organizational works for U.S. legal entities
• Collect, organize, and update laws, regulations, and relevant cases related to Biotechnology, Technology, Life Science, and Employment/HR for compliance purposes
• Manage litigation cases, collect information, participate in internal investigations, and assist with outside legal counsel management
• Coordinate with HR and outside law firms on employment-related immigration and visa matters

Qualifications:

• Law degree (J.D.) with 10-20 years of legal experience as a licensed lawyer
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
