UNC Health – Holly Springs Hospital is seeking a full-time Clinical Nurse II to join their Labor & Delivery team. This is an exciting opportunity to provide compassionate, high-quality maternal care in a growing community hospital where every team member makes a meaningful impact.
About Our Unit
UNC Health – Holly Springs Hospital is proud to offer comprehensive, family-centered obstetric care in a modern, thoughtfully designed setting. Their Labor & Delivery unit includes:
- 7 private Labor & Delivery rooms
- 5-bed OB Emergency Department (OBED)
- 2 dedicated Operating Rooms
- 2 PACU bays
Each labor room is equipped with a labor tub and Nitrous Oxide capabilities, supporting a variety of pain management preferences and personalized birth experiences.
Collaborative, 24/7 Support
- 24/7 in-house OB provider coverage
- Strong partnerships with OB/GYNs and Certified Nurse Midwives
- Dedicated OB CRNA available around the clock for epidurals, spinals, and general anesthesia

Responsibilities
- Maintains an environment of safety for patients, self and others and supports patient safety initiatives.
- Participates in identifying and meeting learning needs of self.
- Identifies expected patient outcomes.
- Demonstrates competence in care of patients with complex problems.
- With assistance, develops goals to promote professional growth or minimize limitations.
- Recognizes data from complex situations to determine priorities for care.
- Collaborates with patient/family to prepare or update the plan of care.
Requirements
- Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
- NC RN Licensure
- ACLS
- BCLS
- NRP
- One year experience working as a licensed RN
